Dr. Chinn grew up in Seattle and attended Roosevelt High School. She graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Psychology. She went on to receive her dental degree from the UW School of Dentistry in 1985. Dr. Chinn associated in a few dental practices until joining Dr. Kashiwa in 1990.

Dr. Chinn is married and has a son and lives in Issaquah. She enjoys spending time with her family, gardening and arts and crafts.
