Studies have shown that early intervention and care, as well as prevention education, can greatly reduce the amount of dental decay we are currently seeing. Through encouraging good dietary and dental hygiene habits while providing regular professional care, we will be able to make oral health a long term benefit. In exchange for our services, each adult patient participating in this program will be asked to "Pay The Favor Forward" by doing something for their community. This exchange request continues the spirit of generosity and appreciation in the surrounding community, which will indirectly benefit from this program!

We are also encouraging other dentists in the Bothell area to invite a few families into their practice to help meet the growing need in our community. It is possible for this need to be met if every dental professional supported one or two families. If we collectively support healthcare in our community, we will make a difference and we'll all share in the pride of making well-being a way of life for families in need of our services. Our hope is that the success of our efforts will inspire every community outside of Bothell to do the same. By taking this challenge on one community at a time, meeting the needs of Medicaid families becomes a manageable service we can all provide--a community service that will have a tremendous impact on healthcare in the Northwest.

If you are a family with Medicaid coverage and you are interested in becoming a patient in our program, please call the Snohomish Health District Dental Referral Line at 425.339.5219. All of our referrals will be managed through this agency. We will try to accommodate as many families as possible.
